hello,

i have been having some issues with my laptop lid, the left side was a little loose, so i opened it up,

some screws were loose so i fixed them and its fine they fix in properly so i know they are not broken, the problem is the part of the hinge that connects to top of the lid to reduce pressure is broken and im afraid it might cause more problems if i dont fix it.broken part of hingebroken part of hinge

now my question is can i use any 15 series hinge as a replacement? part are not easy to find where i live, how can i find out which model hinges are compatible with my laptop, can i use G series hinges?

and about the hinges being tense, its putting alot of pressure on the axis and the lid, is there a way to loose them up, is there any adjustment part?

_will loosening that nut on the end of the axis do that or i shouldn't touch it.

_is it ok if i grease the hinge or is it not safe?

_is gluing the broken part an option or it wont hold.

any advice is appreciated and sorry for any grammatical errors, i hope i passed the information clearly.
