nx9010
Microsoft Windows XP

I have a compaq nx9010 laptop. My question is when i turn it on my one fan will spin for a few seconds then stop and all the lights by the power button will stay lite and the display will not come on and the cd-rom ligth will blink. I took it apart to see if there was drit shorting it out. The cpu is getting power and i took memory out and put it back in and i even tried other memory and the same thing. The battery does charge.  I even tried other cpu's in it but nothing. Hope someone can help and thanks for the help.
