In effect you don't have the cable. You just need to use references indicates in the maintenance manual to find the caddie and cable.

stay on topic, what do you think, do i need a hard drive cover L23219-001(of course i need a cable)? or can I attach it to something else?

@Huffer has written:

You can find generic rubber or styrofoam brackets you can put on the 2.5 inch disk and stabilize it in the slot or, with an SSD you can stick it in there with a piece of double sided tape.
