Hi, @Achayan07

I don't see any M.2 slot in your pictures, and I looked at the service manual to see if the slot is on the other side of the motherboard, and it doesn't appear to be.

In any event, even if your notebook had a M.2 slot, it would only support SATA SSD's as indicated in Chapter 1 of the service manual.   The slot would not have supported a NVMe SSD.

A 2.5" SATA SSD will perform just as good as a M.2 SSD, so I also recommend that you replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

Below is the link to the service manual...

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04642845

Note the supported drive types in chapter 1 on page 3.

M.2 SATA-3 (NGFF):
● SSD, 256GB, 2280, M.2, SATA-3, TLC

Note the procedure to remove and replace a M.2 drive in chapter 6 on page 53.

The slot should have been visible after you removed the bottom cover.

Its specs

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04700665

It has single storage option with 2.5" HDD. Its system board does NOT have M.2 slot for storage (I can't see your image). You can REPLACE 2.5" HDD with 2.5" SSD drive using

                   https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/860evo/

         Or similar from reputable vendors.
One example (compatible drive, can use smaller/larger capacity)
