Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When attempting to turn the laptop on, the entire keyboard begins to blink in a pattern of about 4 to 5 seconds. The screen remains dark. In addition, the indicators for wireless and hard disks flash yellow, the indicator for power flashes white, and then the indicator for charging flashes yellow immediately afterward.

 It's exactly the same problem as illustrated in this video: https://i.imgur.com/ehmNegI.mp4 

 It is NOT covered by this blinking code list, because it involves the entire keyboard, not just caps lock and unlock: HP Notebook PCs - Computer Does Not Start and Emits an LED or Beep Code | HP® Customer Support

Giving the computer a gentle shake allows it to boot up. I'm assuming this is a hardware issue but have no idea where to start looking.
