Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I want to connect a compatible I want to connect a compatible external  DVD burner to my 

HP Pavilion x2 Detachable 10-107na, can anyone advise me of a compatible model as my Buffalo writer fails to interface even when I link it to an external power source as the tablets USB link does not provide sufficient power.

The model number is not quite right but I think I have the idea. Its a 10 inch notebook with an Atom processor and does have a USB 3.0 port, right? By design these things run on very low power.

Is the Buffalo unit a full sized desktop type DVD burner?
