Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, my laptop battery runs for less than 2 hours after a full charge. Declared by the manufacturer 14.5 hours. Diagnostics with HP PC HARDWARE DIAGNOSTICS and HP SUPPRESSION ASSISTANT conducted, everywhere OK, even offers no calibration.

The laptop is used 4 months.

Is it fixed or carried in for repair?

HP Recommended

Try using safe mode and check whether this is due to a program or due to a defect in the battery.

Try using power saving mode. (which you may have tried also)

Try finding battery usage in Windows Settings > Battery.

Try using any third party apps to monitor battery usage.

Try using HP Hardware Diagnostics to find out any problem.

 

If none of these work then contact the customer care and ask for a check of your system.
