Does the System Model HP EliteBook 830 G5 Model have a fingerprint sensor? It appears that there is one located in the bottom right corner, but how can I confirm whether my PC has one that works? Please note that biometrics do not appear in Device Manager, and the fingerprint reset on reboot option does not show in the BIOS settings.
note- it does not appear in device manager with show hidden files also

The series has many different models/products. Some have option Fingerprint reader, some don't. Did you buy Fingerprint option for your machine ? Otherwise it has a window w/o Fingerprint reader/sensor underneath.
If you wish, you can buy
Fingerprint reader assembly (includes cable) part # L13681-001
