guys help!! hp pavilion dv7 6165us repair & upgrade SOS

hey guys my mom has an  hp pavilion dv7 6165us, and its broken. i mean basically the whole screen part kindof. the screen itself works but the top part of the back panel is cracked, the screens frame and one of the hinges is broken,  and on the main part, the part next to one of the hinges. this laptop has great intelectual value and i need to fix it. only idk if another laptop on ebay that looks completely identical but im not sure if it really is idenctival cuz dv7 has a lot of models. also theres no repair guide for it. hp has a terrible customer service bot, and when i gave it this laptop's serial number it said it doesnt exist. it has a nice 4 core cpu, 6gb of ddr3 ram (wanna upgrade to 8 gb) and is 64 bit. i want my mom to use it for atleast 2 more years cuz it means a lot to her. she loves its look its screen and its speakers and i dont wanna say a lot but shes sick, shes always been but shes really depressed and stuff guys i need help please help me

Since none of the parts are available from HP any longer, you will have to see if you can find them on the secondary market such as on eBay.

I have attached the dv7-6100 service manual, below.

thank you so muchhh ❤️ and so does this mean that the other laptop that not necessarily this exact model but looks identical will have a compatible hinge and sreen frame and stuff?

hii! HP Pavilion DV7 17 Inch, Intel Core i5[NO HARDRIVE INCLUDED] | eBay do you think this could be used to be a hinge + screen frame + frame donor? i mean its not the same model because the 6165 only came with amd i think, but it looks basically identical.

As long as you do a search by the HP part numbers for the parts you need from the parts list I posted, they can be off any dv6-6100 AMD/Intel notebook.

I see the following parts:

649946-001

Display Back cover - STG 1.1

665592-001

Display Bezel

639403-001

HINGE KIT

You would have to ask the eBay seller what model dv7 it is.

It has to be a dv7-6000/6100

It would be best if you get the product number from the notebook and then you can compare the parts lists to make sure the part numbers for the parts you need are the same.
