will WD Blue 500GB Mobile Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 7.0 MM 2.5 Inch - WD5000LPCX be compatible with my HP?

Hard drives:
Support for 6.35 cm (2.5 in) hard drives in 7.2 mm and 7.0 mm (.28 in) thicknesses

Support for Accelerometer hard drive protection
● 1 TB, 5400 rpm, 7.2 mm and 500 GB, 5400 rpm, 7.0 mm
● 1 TB, 5400 rpm, 7.2 mm with 8 GB NAND and 500 GB, 5400 rpm, 7.0 mm with 8 GB NAND solid-state hard
drives

May I suggest that since you have to replace the drive, spend a few more dollars and get a much better performing, normally more reliable 500 GB solid state drive?
