Hi @Babneett,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
To change the polling rate of your HP wireless mouse, please follow these steps:
- Check for Dedicated Software:
- Visit the HP Support website and enter your mouse model to see if there's dedicated software available.
- If software is available, download and install it.
- Within the software, look for settings related to "Polling Rate" or "Report Rate" and adjust as desired.
- Manual Adjustment via Button Combinations:
- Some mice allow polling rate changes through specific button combinations.
- For example, certain models use the following method:
- Unplug the mouse.
- Hold down specific buttons (e.g., buttons 4 and 5) while plugging the mouse back in.
- Release the buttons after the mouse powers up.
- Please refer to your mouse's user manual for exact instructions, as this method varies by model.
- Using Operating System Settings:
- Some operating systems allow polling rate adjustments through system settings.
- However, this feature is not universally available and depends on the OS version and mouse compatibility.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
