What is your hp notebook 15s1xx  ? Depending on the CPU of your machine it can have

 

  • Two slots which Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM  or
  • One slot which supports DDR4 RAM up to 8GB or 1 slot which support DDR3L RAM up to 8GB
