Hello, 

I want to upgrade my laptop with a SSD memory, but I can't find if it has a slot for this. I already have HDD on it and I want to know if I can install a SSD and keep the HDD.

It has Intel® Core™ processor namely Intel® Core™ i3-7100U (2.4 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores) therefore it supports DUAL storage option. It has 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA now, you can add M.2 SSD (SATA or NVMe) to your machine. You may need 3 more parts

 

  • Solid-state drive bracket part # L20458-001
  • Solid-state drive connector board part # L22542-001
  • Solid-state drive cable part # L20456-001
