I need a replacement for my 250 G3 battery, the part number is 746641-001.
HP doesn't stock them anymore and I'm only able to find them in Amazon.
However, most of the replacement batteries are 14.4v or 14.8v and the original battery is 11.1v.
My question is: can i use a 14.4v or 14.8v battery with my 250 G3??

Yes. Here is an eBay seller with original OEM (actual HP manufactured) batteries for a very reasonable price:
He obviously gets your question a lot since he says right in the text that the laptop commonly uses either 11.1v or a 14.4/14.8v battery.

Hey Huffer, thanks so much for the quick reply and the ebay recommendation. Unfortunately I'm in Europe and that seller doesn't ship over here.
However, after reading description it says:
1.Li-Ion Laptop Battery 10.8V and 11.1V are in common use.
2.Li-Ion Laptop Battery 14.4V and 14.8V are in common use."
It looks to me that you can either use 10.8V or11.1V; or use 14.4V or 14.8V but doesn't mention the other way around??
Then, he also mentions that it's compatible with original part 746641-001 but then doesn't list my model??
Why is buying a new battery so complicated?? *head meets desk*
