HP ENVY x360 - 15-dr1072ms

I encountered similar issues described in another post, for the same model.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/HP-Envy-x360-15-dr1072ms-does-not-power-on/m-...

In short, the laptop last good work day was 2023/1/22. The laptop was used on 1/22 without power cord and charged a apple watch via the usb port. The laptop depleted its battery and turned itself off.

The next day of 1/23 the laptop was plugged in with power cord, but did not power on. The light adjacent to the laptop's power jack does not light up. Below troubleshooting steps were tried without a fix.

- kept power cable plugged overnight --> laptop did not power on;

- confirmed the power cord/adapter works properly by interchange with my another hp laptop envy's 65w power cord/adapter --> this envy did not power on and the other hp laptop powers on/charge normally.

- unplug power cord, pressed laptop power button 15second, then plug power cable back --> laptop did not power on;

- unplug power cable, removed the battery (unscrew&remove back cover, then unscrew& remove the battery), then plug in the power cable --> laptop did not power on, BUT the light adjacent to the power cable jack lights up for about 10seconds and then turns off.

- unplug power cable, put back the battery & screws, then plug in the power cable --> laptop did not power on, AND the light adjacent to the power cable jack dose NOT lights up.

- no sign of water damage to the internal component, nor physical damage to the internal components.

Please help. Thanks.
