Microsoft Windows 11

where is the insert key on hp envy x360 2-in-1 16-ac0xxx poly studio. There is no number pad, so don't tell me to type FN + 0. Also, FN = E does not work. There is no INS on any key on the keyboard.

@chetjr, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding missing number pad!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

On the HP Envy x360 2-in-1 16-ac0xxx, which lacks a dedicated Insert (INS) key, you may need to try alternative methods:

1. Use On-Screen Keyboard

  • Press Windows + Ctrl + O to open the On-Screen Keyboard.
  • Look for the Insert (Ins) key and click it.

2. Use a Keyboard Shortcut

  • Some HP Envy models map Insert to Fn + E, but since you mentioned it doesn’t work, try:
    • Fn + PrtSc (Print Screen)
    • Shift + 0 (rare, but works on some models)

Let me know if you need further help!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
