Specs say the laptop is sold with a 256 gig M.2 SSD:

specs

Service Manual

See p. 20 of the Service Manual. There is no M.2 slot on the motherboard. The M.2 is installed using an adapter plate and special cable that then attaches to the motherboard. There is no option to have both a regular hard drive and M.2 SSD at the same time. If you want more capacity the best thing for you is to buy a larger capacity SATA M.2 SSD and replace the existing 256 gig with the larger one.
