Your notebook can support 2 x 2 GB of DDR2-5300 memory if you have one of the newer BIOS versions installed.

 

I don't remember which BIOS version allowed for 2 x 2 GB of memory, and there are no records to refer to anymore.

 

The notebook will not be able to use more than 3 GB of the 4 GB of memory, however.

 

If the BIOS is too old, the notebook will blue screen with 2 x 2 GB of memory installed.
