Your service manual (page 1) states that your model supports max 16 (2x8) GB RAM. The manual also says DDR4 3200 will be bridged to 2400. You currently have an 8 (1x8) GB RAM DDR4 2400, so you can install another 8 GB module either DDR4 2400 or DDR4 3200.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
Crucial upgrade support for your model says you can upgrade to 32 GB. If you still want 2x8 GB, Crucial carries both 8 GB modules DDR4 2400 and DDR4 3200.

Page 1 of the manual also indicates you model comes with an M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD. M.2 NVMe SSDs have no size limit so you can install a 512 GB, 1 or 2 TB NVMe SSD. Your M.2 slot is of PCIe gen 3.0.
You can install Windows on a new NVMe SSD and keep the 1 TB HDD for data storage.
