i am buying a new hp original 230w charger for my OMEN laptop from hp store in full payment (17800RS) not as warranty and they are saying hp has terms and condition to give back my old charger in return for the new one is this real, is there any terms and condition in hp to return my product to buy a new one?

yes, it's the same model but the hp service center guy told me original costs 17800 Rs and i also have to give my old charger back as its hp terms and condition to return my charger for a new original product, is there actually anything like original and OEM and is there any terms and condition to return my old product when am buying a new product
