Hi!, @Asit7600 :
The Generic Maintenance and Service Manual or Guide, is … http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06147959
The specifications are … https://support.hp.com/emea_middle_east-en/document/c06203918
Can use ...
PCIe, NVMe, M.2 solid-state drives (Intel Core processors):
512 GB, PCIe, NVMe - L20385-001
256 GB, PCIe, NVMe - L20384-001
256 GB, SATA III, TLC (Three Layer Cell) - L20382-001
128 GB, SATA III, TLC (Three Layer Cell) - L20381-001
The recognized brand's are ... ADATA, Samsung, Sandisk, Western Digital (WD), Seagate, Kingston, Crucial (by Micron), Corsair, SKhynix.
You too, must be know ...
The M.2 SATA III can go in any slot type Key B or Key M, there is no specific slot for an M.2 SATA-3. In general there are very few computers that use Key B and the majority that use them are desktop computers. In notebooks now you will only see Key M slots, which support both M.2 SATA-3 (3x2) and M.2 PCie NVMe (3x4).
In Dual Storage use configurations (Intel Core processors):
256 GB, PCIe, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive
256 GB, SATA III, TLC (Three Layer Cell), solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive
128 GB, SATA III, TLC (Three Layer Cell), solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive
