i wanted to install samsung 990 pro m.2 pcIe4 nvme ssd in my laptop does it work on my laptop ?

Your notebook does have support for one M.2 NVMe SSD.


The Samsung 990 Pro will work but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds because your notebook's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

 

This table shows the maximum transfer speeds each PCIe slot generation provides:
