is the ram and storage soldered on the envy x360 15' 15M-EE0013DX

can i upgrade the ram and storage after buying it?

planning on buying the cheapest option from https://www.amazon.com/HP-ENVY-Touchscreen-Processor-Nightfall/dp/B08966H6XJ/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&key... and upgrading it in the future when ill need to.

is it possible? cause if not i will not buy it. tried contacting the support, though they did not help me with that sadly...

Hi:

The memory upgrade info and storage type info can be found in chapter 1.

 

The memory is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

 

Models come configured with either 8 or 16 GB of onboard memory.

 

The M.2 NVMe SSD can be upgraded to a larger storage capacity, but there is no support to add an additional 2.5" drive.

well then thats sad cause ive seen that some version of this can be upgraded

Probably you saw from a different series. As Paul said, RAM is onboard, not up gradable, I will get a 16GB version soon.
