HP Pavilion x2 Detachable Tablet (HP Pavilion x2 - 10-n200ur).
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi! I am looking for a solution to fix the crash that occurred as a result of installing the Windows 21H1 update on a laptop - HP Pavilion x2 Detachable tablet (HP Pavilion x2 - 10-n200ur). Stopped working 2021/10/04: Touch screen, audio playback and microphone recording with "device not attached" error. Troubleshooting with system tools and Windows and HP Support Assistamt does not find or fix the problem. At the same time, it is also impossible or blocked the possibility of returning to the previous system or canceling the update. Warranty service ended in 2014, but the laptop is very comfortable and up to the latest update was trouble-free and used for presentations. Tnx.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly after the latest Windows update.

To resolve problems when your display or touchscreen is not working properly, go to Display and Touchscreen Troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, the last thing I can suggest trying is a restore back to the factory. While doing the recovery there is an option to backup your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time.

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
