Hi all,
I have two HP laptops:
HP 250 G6 and HP 255 G6
may you please tell me how many slots they have and what is the maximum memory I can mount?
more: where can I retrieve those info on my laptops?

Hi,
Can you let me know what processor is in each notebook as it depends if you have Pentium/Celeron processor or 6th or 7th generation Intel core processor for the HP 250 G6. You can see on page 2 of service manual:

Now the 255 G6 has a AMD processor and the max is 8GB of DDR4 2400Mhz which will run at 1866Mhz as you can see on page 1 of service manual for that model.

Hi,
Naturally I also have checked the link before posting it.
Even if the service manual mentions 16GB of DDR4 as the max memory. HP DDR4 systems with 7th/8th generation core processors will support 32GB of RAM (2x16GB) as many users have tried successfully.
