My HP-dk1010la laptop motherboard component CN365 U365 is burned out. I see it's a connector. In your experience, when this happens, does it cause collateral damage to other components, or will simply replacing the connector solve the problem?

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If the CN365/U365 component on your HP-dk1010la motherboard is visibly burned, there's a significant risk that other nearby components or circuits may have been affected.
Replacing the connector alone may not resolve the issue unless the damage is strictly localized.
It looks like we may have to raise a service order for the same.
These requests are best addressed over the phone with our dedicated support team for your region.
I'm sending you a private message to guide you on the next steps.
To access it, click the private message icon in the upper-right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your name.
If this resolves your issue, kindly mark this post as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" if it was helpful.
Take care and have a great day!

Hi Hawks_Eye When I click on https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact, send me a blank page. I have to refresh the screen to see the support page, which I find very complicated and unfriendly. I think their equipment and support are very, very, very bad. I will never buy another computer hp, personal or business.
