my laptop's battery suddenly drops from 15% to 0% everytime and shuts down immediately

i have been using this laptop for about one and a half year, i never faced this type of issue before. My laptop's battery suddenly drops from 15% to 0% and also shuts down immediately. Then it does not start untill i plug-in the laptop for about 3 minutes........I am very worried what happened to my laptop please help!

You might just need to replace the battery.
