Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

When shutting down yesterday it worked well.

Started up today and it boots to the desktop but i can't use either the touchpad and/or the keyboard. It doesn't react on everything I'm doing.
Pushed Powerbutton for a while to switch it off and on restart entered diagnostic UEFI. Tested the Keyboard an everything looks okay but when i run a Systemtest it stops with Errorcode PLPLHO-7TC8LF-MFPWLJ-60QK03 on the diskdrive.

What's behind this error and how can i fix it?

Hi! @Frank17_05, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand the keyboard and touchpad will not work once you boot into your PC.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

As you mentioned you ran a diagnostics test and it failed with a failure ID.

I tried to decode the failure ID and according to the records, the hard drive on your PC is faulty and It about to fail.

So you are unable to use the keyboard and touchpad once you boot into your PC.

Please replace the hard drive on your PC to get the issue fixed.

Contact HP support for service options.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day ahead! 🙂
