Hello

I am out of the 128GB storage on my 6-year old laptop and looking for advice on best next step - is it an option to add more internal storage with an SSD (is it even possible to open my laptop to install this?), or would there be a stronger argument for buying a new laptop given its age?

Thank you

Sally

Hi, Sally:

If you are happy with your notebook and it is still in good condition, I recommend you replace the 128 GB M.2 2280 SATA SSD with a better performing NVMe SSD in a greater storage capacity such as 500 GB or 1 TB model.
