I have a HP-pavilion 11-n010dx x360 and it wont charge. I did battery tests and it says its working properly, but it wont hold a charge and it only works when its plugged in. I want to know what kind of battery it takes so that i can change the battery and get my mobile capacity back in my mobile pc. Please let me know what kind of battery it takes and i will be forever gratful.

Service Manual:

Your Manual

(15) Li-ion battery

2-cell, 29-Wh, 3.82-Ah 751875-005

3-cell, 43-Wh, 3.82-Ah 778956-005

According to specs your model was sold with the 2-cell battery. You can install either a 2-cell or a 3-cell.

Start on p. 28 for back cover removal and jump to p. 49 for battery replacement.

HP has the 3-cell on backorder:

2-cell exact replacement for your battery is in stock:

https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/Search_Results.aspx?mscssid=54D67587DCF7446B94E41C81C0117B1B&SearchIn=P...

Compatible 3-cells are available through amazon.com:

https://www.amazon.com/Battpit-Notebook-Battery-Replacement-778956-005/dp/B01N3WBL7H/ref=sr_1_2?ie=U...

I would order direct from HP given the very small price difference.

Thank you for the information.  It was helpful.  I would order from HP too, but it is not easy.  Type battery or the specific part number into the search feature on HP.com and, well, you'll be fishing for a while.

Come on HP! Make it easier to BUY FROM YOU!  And while you're at it, make better harware please ...
