Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I've had my laptop for little over a year now and a small crack has appeared on the plastic frame surrounding the screen.

My daughters previous laptop had the same issue until it finally broke apart from the backside of the screen and now I'm having same issue with this newer one.

it seems by what I've read it is a fairly common issue with some HP models.

I treat the laptop with care and after what I saw happen with my daughters laptop I even try always using both hands to move the screen up or down as to not create extra strain on either hinge. I believe there could be a design flaw here.

I know I'm out of warranty, but does HP respond to this sort of flaws?
