Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've got a HP pavilion 15 (15-ec1455ng) and few days ago I noticed that left upper corner of the display is a bit curved. I thought I fixed it a bit by bringing it ina sleeve bag. But today after a several hours od usage, noticed it's pretty bad curve.

Does anyone have a similar issue? Why is this happened?

Laptop works perfect as usual, but the plastic is a bit scary.

I put it upside down to unscrew and open the plastic, maybe to clean the dust. But as I don't have good equipment and enough experience, after maybe 15 minutes, put it back in the normal position. The plastic was straighten.

Van someone share what to do?

When I turn it on again, the display was straighten for a short time and then started to curve on the other direction.

During the night I shut it of and let upside down to straighten itself.

Hi @Jasna1, Welcome to the HP Support Community

It looks like your HP Pavilion 15 (15-ec1455ng) display is warping, which is not a common issue but can happen due to a few reasons:

Possible Causes:

  1. Heat Buildup: Gaming laptops generate significant heat, and prolonged exposure to high temperatures can cause the plastic or even internal components to warp slightly.
  2. Hinge Tension or Frame Stress: If there's excessive tension in the hinges or the display frame, it may gradually cause the screen to bend.
  3. Internal Component Expansion: Some internal parts (like the battery) might expand due to heat or wear, putting pressure on the display panel.

This needs one-on-one interaction hence I'm sending a private message to assist you with the next action.
