Product: HP ProBook 450 G8 Notebook PC IDS Base Model

please i just bought my hp probook 450 g8 core i3 11th gen

my finerprint sensor is not working from day 1when  i bought it .

its a new laptop though

windows cannot recognise it and device manager too

how would i fix it ?

please help me i dont know if its because it is an optional feature and then i should buy it separately or its inside the laptop so i just have to connect it to the motherboard
