Product Name: hp envy 17
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My battery now shows 0% available. I have run the diagnostic from hp assist, and got the message to recalibrate. I cant. My battery wont charge, and my computer wont turn on when it is unplugged. I ran the system extensive test and got , in red; FAILURE ID : U4XCXV-75F83H-MFPV7G-C0B303. Can somebody please help me?

Re: plugged in, battery not charging

Was the failure ID associated with some specific component of the hardware test? What is your exact model number, please and how old is the laptop and the battery?

Re: plugged in, battery not charging

The laptop was purchased in late 2014. I have never run the battery all the way down, and now; whike.it is plugged in, it has drained to 0%. There was no indication of any other hardware involvement. To top it off, hp has no batteries anywhere in the United States to replace it.
