replacement fanfor 6053ea

Hi I have an error on boot up saying a cooling fan is not operating correctly - system fan 90b.  there is a long list of fans for the DV6 range, can anyone help with what part number it is?

 

custmodel is DV6-6053ea

Hi @akindfarmer,

 

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome.

 

I have read about your HP ENVY dv6-6053ea Notebook and getting an error code 90B with the fan.  I would try to reload the factory installed BIOS Setup settings. http://ow.ly/Jsqq302g0dj.

This will reset the fans.

 

Have you tried to clean the fans?

 

Here is a link to parts for the fan replacement if you need it. You might need to change the location on the right side.
