HP ENVY x360 13.3 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 13-bf0000 (552D5AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I'm really disappointed to report that the screen of my HP ENVY x360 is coming off from one of the corners due to a hinge issue, as shown in the attached pictures. This happened suddenly one day while I was simply opening my laptop. I purchased it in February 2023 in France and extended the care pack warranty until March 2025.

I reached out to HP customer care in France, only to be told that it’s considered physical and intentional damage. They are charging me 300 euros for repairs, which is nearly half the cost of the laptop itself. This feels completely absurd to me, as I have never dropped or physically damaged my device. After looking into it, I found that this is a common issue among users. I shouldn't have to pay such a hefty amount, especially after extending the care pack. I’ve owned two x360 series laptops in the past, and they've both worked perfectly.

This experience has left me highly disappointed with HP services, making me reconsider any future purchases.

I would like to escalate this issue to HP care services in hopes of finding a better solution.
