I bought a ssd Western Digital Blue SN550 NVMe to replace the drive on my HP spectre x360 model 4120ca . i cloned the original drive to this one. after installing it i rebooted the machine and found that the laptop didn't recognize the drive was installed. any ideas? thanks.

I am wondering if i should get the WD SATA drive instead.
instead of this one
since in the product description it had this for the ssd
Support for single PCIe / SATA M2
solid-state drive configuration as
storage (scope M2 2260/2280 DS
in the following configurations:
● 512-GB solid-state drive
● 256-GB solid-state drive
does this mean i should be installing the SATA drive instead?

it has M.2 SATA SSD. You can upgrade to larger (capacity) M.2 SATA SSD using
