Kindly help me with possible SSD upgradation for my HP15DA2180NIA.

You're very welcome.
You can get the Samsung drive in the 250 GB size, but it is only $15 less than the 500 GB one.
You can use the SSD as the boot drive and the HDD for storage, but you must remove Windows from the hard drive, or the notebook will always want to boot from the 2.5" drive first and not the SSD.

Actually I don't really need 500gb capacity.. Can u suggest 256gb range SSD for the same model laptop.
Also, Is it possible for to configure my laptop with Operating system running in New SSD and storage in my existing 1TB HDD.
I am a stock trader and speed only matters, storage is not that necessary.
