for my HP 250 G7 Notebook PC
I want to upgrade a ssd to its m2 slot I want to know if it's support gen4 ssd or it support gen3 ssd

Crucial must sell their products, you will even see that they give you higher frequency, but that does not mean they go at those speeds, the speed is limited, you can never go at those speeds if the processor does not allow it and the processors in this model are all PCIe 3, in fact when their model was built there were no Gen 4 disks,

Hi @qwertykd
You can put a Gen 4 SSD but the speed will be reduced to the speed of a Gen 3 SSD, if in the future you want to have another PC that uses Gen 4 it might be convenient to buy it and then use it, check the price difference and see what suits you better.

I did not get is gen 4 ssd give me speed of gen 4 or not on my device otherwise I will buy gen 3
because I found that on crucial website that my pc hp 250 g7 supports gen4 ssd you can see it on this link below:
