Hi:

According to chapter 1 of the service manual, Intel Optane memory was not offered as an option in that model series.

You may want to consider installing a NVMe drive in the M.2 slot, use it as the boot/operating system drive, and use your notebook's 2.5" hard drive for storage only.

Thanks very much.

I bought ssd NVMe M2 128 GB.

Install it.

But I don't see it in BIOS, in System (Windows 11), and device manager doesn't show it.

Please help me.

You're very welcome.

Did you try to install Windows on the new SSD?

On many HP notebooks the M.2 SSD does not show up as a bootable device, but once you install an operating system on it, it should boot from the SSD.

Yes.

I tried.

I enabled legacy option in BIOS, but when begin installing Windows 11 i couldn't select SSD (it didn't show)

Unfortunately, I don't know what the problem could be since the service manual indicates that NVMe SSD's are supported.

You can see if the drive will show up in the device manager by initializing the drive.

Initialize new disks | Microsoft Docs

And I have some problem with BIOS.

I can't open advanced mode in setting. Maybe this function is locked.

Hi:

There are no advanced options in any HP notebook BIOS.

What you see is what you get.

Here are some photos. I don't know what problem. I can not use M2 SSD card on my laptop. Please, tell me what is wrong

Hi:

Unfortunately, I do not know.

The only thing I can think of is that the service manual is wrong and that your notebook only supports SATA M.2 SSD's, not NVMe.

Under the storage controllers device manager category, you should be seeing a Standard NVMe controller if a NVMe SSD was installed and supported.
