my touchpad pointer sticks where I have to double click to enter or even have problems moving it

Greetings and Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Don't worry, I'm here to help! 

 

Let's try these steps -

 

1) Right click on the start or Windows icon and open the "Device Manager".
2) Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices".
3) Right click on the "Synaptics TouchPad".
4) Click on uninstall and restart the computer. 
 

Download and install the latest touchpad driver from this link > Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices
