I am currently using hp pavilion 15 p045tx with 15.6" HD display. This laptop can handle FULL HD resolution pretty easily, i came to know that after connecting it to a desktop monitor. Can it be replaced by a FULL HD (1920x1080) display.please tell me where can i find the replacement screen.
THe model no. of the current screen is B156WX04 v.5 with 40 pin connector.

Here is the Service Manual:
See page 40-41. There is a 15.6 inch non-touch FHD screen option but there are also different cables for the HD and FHD models, implying that an FHD screen will not display properly with your display cable. So, to do the upgrade you would need to replace both the screen cable and the display panel.
HP Parts on amazon.com wants $83 for the cable:
This would be the right screen:
You can likely find the cable and screen a bit cheaper with a little research.
