As I stated yesterday, that will be fine.

 

The drive capacities are just what HP offered in the model series.

 

They are not the maximum drive capacities supported.

Hi:

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports SATA SSD's only, not NVMe.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.  Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

sir in the manual its written as maximum combination of ssd with sata hdd is 256gb ssd + 1tb hdd kindly clarify

Those are just the drive sized offered by HP for the model series.

 

If you want to install a larger capacity SSD such as 500 GB or 1 TB, that would be fine.

sir i want to install an m.2 ssd of 500gb as i am already having 1tb sata hdd running in the laptop so whether its possible or it will only support 256gb m.2 ssd as per manual.

Kindly confirm if 500 gb m.2 ssd is supported or only buy 256 gb one
