Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 4 GB DDR3L-1600 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) installed on the PC. Your computer Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM (Refer to the 2 Chapter 1 Product description)  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06189775

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I think the right answer is in the 14 chapter 1.....the processor is i3 5005U and has dual-channel support so it can take up to 12gb "12288-MB total system memory (8192×1) + (4096×1) [5th generation Intel Core models only]" as mentioned....right??

the pdf was helpful....the question is "should the 8gb ram be the same as the one came with the laptop >>kingston ?"

And what SSD should i get?.....recommend me types suits my laptop

Your computer supports M.2 SATA 3 SSD. Refer to page 31 in the service guide for the part number.
