Hi,
I'm looking to increase my laptop hard drive capacity. I know that I have a free slot to place an extra hard drive or SSD in to my laptop.
My question would be that what type of SSD or HD can I purchase to put into my laptop?
Thank you very much for your help in advance.
David

Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook:
HP Pavilion - 15-ec0000nh Product Specifications | HP® Support
Your notebook comes with a 512 GB NVMe SSD.
Your options would be to:
Remove the 512 GB NVMe SSD and install one having a greater storage capacity.
Your notebook has support for one 2.5" drive, so you could install a 2.5" SSD or mechanical hard drive.
There is a plastic dummy filler where the hard drive goes that you will have to remove and install the hard drive/SSD in its place.
Below is the link to the service manual:

Thank You for your quick respond.
as i'm not an expert, so I would go further and ask you specifically the one ssd what I'm planning to buy.
KINGSTON SA400 belső 2,5" SSD meghajtó, SATA3, 500/450 MB/S, 960GB (SA400S37/960G)
Can you confirm that the mentioned ssd would be compatible for my laptop?
I'm extremely grateful for your help!
