Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, i'd like to upgrade my laptop by adding SSD but unfortunately my laptop motherboard doesn't have SSD slot, however, i found in HP technical support website that my laptop includes SSD slot.

it seems there's a newer motherboard version u've released includes SSD.

what is the possibility to upgrade my laptop motherboard so i can add SSD?

still in warranty.

FYI:

 I have no way of identifying the laptop with the information you have provided. Please look on the bottom of the notebook for the tiny print. Find the ProdID and post it in your next response.

 

 

Upgrading the notebook's system board would leave you with a notebook that has:

A) No licensed operating system.

Microsoft's new OS licensing model uses licensing servers where the systemmboard/motherboards of notebook and desktop PCs are tied to the MAC address of the device. That is why there is no longer a license activation sticker on the PC or notebook.

 

B) No warranty. The warranty is tied to the system bard by way of the BIOS system information.

C) no valid system information in the BIOS

 

With that said, upgrading the system board would not seem to be a viable project.
