Hello, I have the HP Laptop 15-dy2005tg 15.6-inch Touchscreen Notebook, Intel Pentium Gold 7505 8GB RAM, 256GB PCIE SSD, I bought two Corsair VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 16GB ram's, it says they are compatible with my laptop but after installing my computer screen would just stay black, once i took them out and but the orginal 8gb ram back in it worked fine. I don't know why don't work, is it too much for this laptop?

Hi:
What are the timing specs on the memory you bought?
The memory that HP installed is most likely CL22 and if the memory you installed has faster timing specs (CL20 or faster) that is the most likely reason for your dilemma.
Many HP notebooks cannot make the adjustments needed for the faster CL memory to work.
If you like Corsair memory, try this pair instead.
