Hai i just got my new HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-dk0010tx with 1 TB HDD. I would like to add on with a SSD but wondering which type does it supports. Currently using Windows 10 Home 64 bit

Hi,
Great machine.
It supports M2 PCIe NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 970 Evo Plus or similar. You can get of your desired capacity (no limit).
It will give an amazing boost to the everyday performance of the notebook.
Example:
On page 41 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06377664
You will need to transfer the OS to the SSD and keep the Hard Drive for storage for the performance gain.
