which type of sata port does my hp 15r014tx have ? also does it support full data transfering speed of a 7200rpm hdd ?

Download and run speccy to know exact SATA port: www.piriform.com/speccy
Your laptop should have SATA-3 or 2 according to your board chipset.
Yes it would support 7200rpm speeds.
