I have a question regarding the memory configuration options of the zBook 14 G8. The description is a little bit misleading (at least to me).

As an example: https://www.hp.com/ch-de/shop/product.aspx?id=313P5EA&opt=UUZ&sel=NTB&p=hp-outlet#technical-details (sorry German). The HW reference is real help either.

This system comes with 32GBytes memory.

  • Is this soldered memory? Hence no further upgrade possible?
  • Does the system come with one SIMM installed and I can add a 2nd one?

Thanks for your reply!

What puzzles me is the list of mainboards with RAM:

I this single channel memory and dual channel is only available adding a compatible SIMM?

(Like Lenovo is doing it with their P14?)
